Ruby Bradford’s Carrot Cookies

1 ½ cup butter
1 ½ cup sugar
2 cups grated carrots(fine)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
(mix well)
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
(mix together)
425 for 15 mins
Frosting
1 orange (grate rind fine)
and juice
powder sugar
Butter
